I think of them sparring in the fashion of a yo-yo, with Tenten dancing just out of reach and slowly wearing him down. And then they topple each other at the end, laughing, as Lee promises he will not fall for that one next time. He never does, and Tenten constantly has to learn how to outwit him. It’s becoming very difficult.
This is also why Lee and Tenten are the fastest, most agile member of the Konoha 11.

I have to go with Tenten on this one. Lee’s version of an argument would be “XYZ IS SPLENDID DON’T YOU AGREE” and Tenten would be like “Lee that’s not an argument that’s your opinion” and Lee’s like “BUT YOU AGREE THAT IT IS SPLENDID RIGHT” and Tenten is just -___-
Maybe Lee would be better, actually.
Lee cooks. He is a grade-A fantabulous cook. In fact, Lee learned how to cook with Ino and the two of them are the ones who always throw dinner parties for the Konoha 11. Tenten’s only skill in the kitchen is chopping shit and she chops way too fine and Lee is like “Tenten I admire your heartfelt efforts but I said diced not minced please try harder next time” and Tenten is just -____-

Lee oh my god have you seen that man’s stamina and flexibility

They are both reachers. Team Gai is all about perfection beyond perfection. Both would reach to new heights in everything they do. It’s why they work so well: they constantly try to be better and make each other better.
